Wouldn’t you like to make a difference by preserving, restoring and educating our community about the historic past of the beloved vessels that call Seawolf Park home? There are so many ways to do it, all of them fun! Please submit a request for more information, and we'll help you get scheduled. Opportunities posted are only available after our staff has contacted you.
A docent conducts tours for five to twenty people around the USS Cavalla and USS Stewart in a 45 to 60 minute time period. The tour process consists of the basic greeting, giving an orientation/summary presentation, provide a safety briefing and a series of 2 minute listen-and-learn sessions at stations in USS Cavalla and around USS Stewart.
Wanna show off your trade skills? Coordinate with restoration and preservation efforts aboard both vessels. There are always projects going on and we would love your assistance if you have knowledge and experience.
More interested in educating others about the sacrifices of sailors and their families? Volunteer for our Speakers' Bureau; or participate in educational fairs, conventions and festivals, and love sharing our heritage with the community.
Love seeing little minds become inspired and seeing them grow and learn? Assist with our Sleepover Program or educational camps. Federal background checks are required for this position.
We also host on-site ceremonies and events. Safety, set-up, and concession support is always welcome and appreciated.
Scarewolf Park will be the best Halloween event of the season with the help of dedicated volunteers like you! Assist with safety, set-up, acting, and more!
